Orange launches digital Glastonbury activity

Orange has revealed its digital marketing activity surrounding its partnership with Glastonbury festival.

The mobile operator is giving consumers an opportunity to win tickets to Glastonbury via an online initiative called “Where’s My Welly?”

Visitors to can win tickets by locating an Orange welly in photos of the crown taken at last year’s Glastonbury festival.

Pictures will be changed each day during the two week period and winners will be selected by prize draw each day.

Where’s My Welly? has been developed by Digital creative agency, Poke. The initiative launches today (26 May) and will run until 9 June.

As the Official Communications Partner to the festival, Orange will work with IMP Media to provide exclusive blog content, including encouraging festival goers to create their own ’digital postcard’ blogs from the festival.

The digital campaign will also include activity across Spotify, Facebook and YouTube advertising.
