Who runs the world?
When you get over the mildly patronising notion of having one teeny tiny 24-hour period to celebrate the social, economic and cultural achievements of 50% of the population, International Women’s Day does provide an opportunity for brands and individuals to instigate change. It gets people talking about the issues and underlying causes of gender inequality, as well as being a rallying call for action.
