Richard Clark nearly didn’t go to university to study business. Instead, he thought about opening a record shop.
“It was the final day when you had to do the UCAS form. And I just thought: ‘Sod it, I’ll do it,’” he recalls. “It’s really weird for me, because I’m from a proper working class background. My dad was a lift engineer, my grandad was a road sweeper. No one in my family ever went to university.”
