PC World and Dixons award ‘core’ affiliate marketing job

DSG International, owner of the PC World and Dixons brands, has appointed Affiliate Window to its affiliate marketing business.

The business, which is understood to be worth six figures, was previously held by rival affiliate network TradeDoubler.

Affiliate Window will develop DSG’s UK affiliate business online for its PC World, Currys.digital and Dixons.co.uk brands. The process is core to DSG’s online marketing strategy.

DSG e-commerce director Devere Forster says: “We want to continue being the clear leader in online-generated business and we are committing more resources to affiliate marketing. Our experience is that it has demonstrated the greatest return on investment of all our marketing activities. Investing time, resources and money into the affiliate channel is key to achieving our business growth objectives.”

He adds that about half the group’s customers research product purchases online before they enter the store. He says that as such: “It is imperative our websites and products can be easily found online. Affiliate marketing is core to ensuring this visibility.”

Affiliate Window specialises in affiliate marketing, which rewards online partners – otherwise known as publishers or affiliates – for sales they drive from their sites.

Alongside its own technology products such as Shop Window, Affiliate Window has developed in-house technologies that help companies identify and protect their business and manage their affiliate relationships.
