Peter Rabbit Organics names ex-Tesco marketer as chief

Peter Rabbit Organics, the organic food company, has appointed former Tesco marketer Ben Ford as its chief executive. He will be responsible for growing the business around the world.

Ford previously worked in Tesco’s International Division in Los Angeles, where he helped launch Fresh and Easy Neighbourhood Markets, the company’s long-awaited chain of US grocery stores. He has also worked as a marketing manager for a number of food brands, including Paul Newman’s Own.

Elizabeth Buxton, founder and director of Peter Rabbit Organics, says: “His experience in international markets and brand guardianship, plus his time spent with leading international companies, will be a huge benefit to the board and our team.”
