Post Office and NS&I still an item

I noted with interest John Stones’ article “NS&I marketing director moves to private sector” (MW November 25). It says: “In October, NS&I resigned a long-term distribution deal with the Post Office”, while going on to state that NS&I was seeking alternative distribution channels.

I am confused. Was the contract resigned, or re-signed?

I am happy to confirm Post Office Ltd, having renewed our contract with National Savings & Investments, is looking forward to being its primary distribution channel for at least the next three years.
