Pringles creates range with Tesco

Pringles is launching a range of four flavours exclusive to Tesco stores. It is thought to be the first time the FMCG firm has created a bespoke range for a supermarket chain.

The “Great British Flavours” range includes kebab, smokey bacon, sea salt & black pepper, and curry varieties.

The range was developed through collaboration between Pringles parent company Procter & Gamble and Tesco and will be followed by other exclusive ranges in the future.

Pringles previously customised its sausage flavour exclusively for the Morrisons supermarket earlier this year.

Pringles brand manager Donna Graham told The Grocer: “It is a fantastic project to work with a retailer. Each part has complete ownership that can really strengthen the supplier/customer relationship.”

Last year, Pringles launched the Pringles Xtreme range aimed at 16 to 24 year old male consumers.

The range include four flavours; Exploding Cheese & Chilli, Smokin’ Ribs and Flamin’ Chilli Sauce.
