Quiet Storm lands Kerry Foods accounts

Quiet Storm has landed the advertising accounts for the Richmond brand range, Porkinson Sausages and Mr Brains Faggots without a pitch following owner Kerry Foods’ split from McCann Erickson earlier this month. Kerry Foods will hold a pitch through the AAR for its Wall’s sausages range, which was also previously handled by McCann Erikson.

The agency had worked with Kerry Foods for 12 years. It is thought the split, by mutual consent, was due to a difference of opinion over creative direction.

Quiet Storm has handled the business for the Kerry Foods-owned Mattessons range for five years. It launched a multimedia campaign for Mattessons Fridge Raiders Chinese Spare Rib variant as part of a £5m investment in the brand.

Separately, Kerry Foods is reviewing the creative business for its Cheestrings brand. It has shortlisted Oglivy Advertising and Quiet Storm, which is incumbent on the business.
