RAF appoints Agency Republic
The Royal Air Force has appointed Agency Republic to work on digital activity for its integrated recruitment campaign.
The appointment follows a four-way pitch managed by the Central Office of Information (COI).
Agency Republic will work with the RAF’s above the line agency DLKW and MGOMD and i-level, who both work on the media strategy, to develop a campaign to promote the service through the stories of people serving in the RAF.
The RAF began its search for a digital agency in February. The service has previously worked with Lean Mean Fighting Machine, which was appointed to work with the RAF on digital recruitment campaigns in 2007.
It is understood the agency did not repitch.
Last October, the RAF launched a recruitment drive across a number of Bauer Media titles The campaign aimed to recruit men and women for personnel administrator roles and ran across TV, print, online and radio through a range of brands including Zoo, More!, Heat, Kerrang! and 4Music.
