RB names category development chief
Reckitt Benckiser has moved quickly to replace chief executive designate Rakesh Kapoor, promoting marketer Heather Allen into the executive vice president of category development role.
Allen, currently global category officer for germ protection, surface and personal care brands such as Cillit Bang, Dettol and Harpic, will take up the position later this month.
She will oversee development of RB’s entire brand portfolio.
Kapoor will replace Bart Becht in September.
Prior to her current job, she had stints as general manager of RB’s Canadian business and marketing director of its US unit.
