Rich comments from Vauxhall

I was somewhat amused by the recent letter from Edward Moss – communications manager for Vauxhall Motors (MW November 5) regarding the artificially high price of jeans and other products in the UK.

As someone in the process of buying a new car, I was wondering if Mr Moss could let me know why most cars in the UK are considerably cheaper to buy almost everywhere in the world, including those produced by his own company?

Mr Moss tells us we shouldn’t put up with overpricing and he’s right. Perhaps he could start by looking in his own back yard…
