Lenden will be responsible for all of Rolls-Royce’s global marketing activity and will be based at the company’s head office in Goodwood, West Sussex. He was previously head of operations at Aston Martin, overseeing sales, marketing and aftersales.

Lenden will report to Rolls-Royce sales and marketing director Graeme Grieve in his new role. Grieve says: “Graham joins our team at a pivotal moment in the company’s recent history. His worldwide role will be a pivotal one as we prepare for the launch of our new products in the coming years.”

Former BMW sales director Grieve was appointed as sales and marketing director at Rolls-Royce at the end of 2005 (MW October 6, 2005). He succeeded Howard Mosher, who left the luxury car marque earlier that year to move to BMW North America (MW March 31, 2005).
