Rolls Royce enlists Rankin for centenary campaign

Rolls-Royce is partnering with photographer Rankin as part of a global campaign to celebrate 100 years of its brand figurine Spirit of Ecstasy, which appears on the bonnet of every Rolls Royce.


The luxury car brand will reveal 100 images of the Spirit of Ecstasy taken by Rankin over the course of the year through exclusive gallery events and an online gallery created by Partners Andrews Aldridge.

Rolls Royce hopes the photography campaign will promote a modern perception of its classic car brand.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO says: “Rankin’s powerful portraits are part of contemporary iconography. His talent for capturing the strength and character of his subjects makes him the ideal photographer to take the Spirit of Ecstasy into the 21st century.”
