Ryvita enlists Couponstar

Ryvita has enlisted online coupon agency Couponstar as part of its launch campaign for its new lower-fat crisp range Limbos.

The deal means shoppers can get a 50 pence off coupon against a Ryvita Limbos multi-pack when they register online, promoted by coupon web offer network couponNet.

Ryvita launched its debut crisp product last October via a £2m TV advertising campaign fronted by TV personality Fern Britton. The campaign was followed by a new brand identity, unveiled in January, to emphasise the ‘honest goodness’ of its products.

The ads, created by Mortimer Whittaker O’Sullivan, features a race between Ryvita Limbos and its unhealthy competitors. It shows the new product winning the race and focuses on the fact that it contains “90% less fat than regular crisps”.

A Ryvita spokesperson says it is offering the coupon because it wanted to “offer consumers a little reward for deciding to adopt a healthier lifestyle.”

Couponstar other clients include Unilever, Nestle, Mars, and Colgate Palmolive.
