Salary Survey 2023: Demand for content roles rises as hiring presses ahead
As brands continue to hire in 2023 despite the economic headwinds, content emerges as an in-demand role for businesses across the marketing spectrum.
While brands are facing a spectrum of struggles in 2023, when it comes to marketing recruitment they don’t appear to be putting the breaks on.
Over a third (37.9%) of the more than 3,000 marketers responding to Marketing Week’s 2023 Career and Salary Survey work for a company that intends to increase hiring this year. Breaking this number down further, B2B brands are more likely to increase hiring in 2023 (40.8%), compared with B2C companies (34.7%).
