McCann-Erickson has picked up the estimated 3m Jeyes account, which was dormant for two years before moving to Kevin Morley Marketing in April. When KMM was bought by Lintas Worldwide, Jeyes reviewed it because of a client conflict with Unilever business in the other Lintas agencies (MW June 2). The initial brief will cover two products – disinfectant Parozone and toilet cleaner Bloo. McCann beat Banks Hoggins O’Shea in the final pitch.

Clark & Taylor has won the ad account for Sears-owned The Outfit, which will sell clothes from other Sears stores.

Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather and incumbent Leagas Delaney are pitching for Unipath’s Clearblue pregnancy-testing product. The winner will handle the brand internationally.

Tony Kaye has broken off talks between Dreamworks and Quentin Tarantino’s A Band Apart Commercials. Dreamworks has dropped its plans to produce commercials. Kaye is still in talks with Sony and Propaganda.

Canadian Airlines has pared its shortlist to two agencies, Cogent and Griffin Bacall. It will make a decision within a fortnight.

Macdonald & Muir, the Scotch whisky distiller, has briefed a number of Scottish agencies about its Glenmorangie brand. The business was with TBWA, which is not repitching.

Mansfield Lang Direct Media has appointed Ian Payne and Bob Blatchford as non-executive directors.
