Shopping centre promotes Talent Week

Brent Cross shopping centre is launching an integrated campaign to promote Talent Week, a pilot event developed by The British Council of Shopping Centres to promote careers in the retail industry.

Talent Week is a week-long interactive event developed in partnership with The Department of Schools and Families, (DCSF), The Talent and Enterprise Taskforce and Business in the Community and supported by retailers including John Lewis.

The campaign, developed by Baber Smith, includes outdoor, press, online and point of sale advertising and features the strapline: “I walked in looking for new shoes, and left with a new career path”.

Pilot events are being hosted by Brent Cross and Liverpool One during half-term week from 26 to 30 October and will roll out to other UK shopping centres in 2010.
