Yeo will based at the tourism body’s London office and replaces Divya Panickar, who has returned to head office.
She has experience in the tourism and hospitality industry and has held various roles in marketing, industry development and investment promotion. She was most recently based at head office in Singapore within their Attractions Division and promoted investment within the tourism sector.
During her Kerr worked with a range of industry partners on marketing and business development projects. These included Sentosa Island, Mount Faber Leisure Group, the Singapore Flyer, DuckTours and the Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix. She was also heavily involved in promoting the city’s numerous shopping & dining attractions.
Singapore Tourist Board earmarked £42 million for a global marketing campaign this year under the banner “2009 reasons to enjoy Singapore.”
