Solicitors turn to Beatles for campaign

The Law Society is launching a national press and outdoor advertising campaign to promote solicitor’s services to individuals today (21 September).

The campaign, under the banner “Your solicitor, Qualified to Answer,” has a strapline inspired by the Beatles that reads “Help, I need somebody.”

The campaign will run at more than 200 train stations and encourages consumers to use solicitors by highlighting the kinds of problems they can help with and how the right legal advice can save money, time and heartache.

It has been created by DML Marketing Group together with the Law Society’s in-house team and is a follow up to last year’s campaign.

Law Society communications director Stephen Ward has overseen the campaign and it is managed by Michelle Leahair, head of brand development and head of media and PR Melissa Davis.

Ward says: “Promotion of the brand of solicitor has been indentified as a priority for the national Law Society by the profession.”
