He co-founded the company in 2005 alongside former Espotting alumni Duncan Parry and Oliver Bishop.

Walker is understood to have left the company at the end of last month with no immediate job to go to and no immediate successor.

Bishop, Steak global CEO, said, “Julian’s enthusiasm, personality and drive have been fundamental in making Steak the company it is today. We’re grateful for his expertise and insight throughout this time and while we’re sad to see him leave we wish him well in his new ventures.”

Prior to Steak and Espotting, Walker worked for VNU.

Last year Steak UK MD Mary Keane-Dawson stepped down from her day-to-day role at the agency after less than six months.

Steak clients include Debenhams and British Gas.
