Tesco brings Sharry Cramond back to its marketing team

Sharry Cramond is returning to Tesco following a four-year gap, joining the supermarket as group marketing strategy and brand director.

Tesco-Logo-Campaign

She previously worked at Tesco between 1998 and 2009 in roles including head of marketing at Tesco Personal Finance and marketing and commercial director at its Telecoms business. She left four years ago to work as general manager of marketing communications at supermarket Coles in Austalia, before joining department store Target Australia as marketing director.

She rejoins Tesco as the firm embarks on a marketing blitz to coincide with the relaunch of its new Finest range of products. The supermarket is yet to respond to requests for comment.

Her appointment follows Tesco’s sweeping job cuts in August, which saw the departure of around 50 senior and middle managers including former Clubcard marketing director Ian Crook.
