Tesco champions recipes with food partnership

Tesco has partnered with recipe website MyDish.co.uk to champion British family meals and boost its foodie credentials.

The supermarket says the partnership will make it easier for customers to shop online for recipe ingredients.

As part of the partnership, Tesco customers can add all the necessary items for a recipe to the Tesco.com shopping basket with a one click process.

MyDish, which was a previous winner of Dragon’s Den and is funded by Deborah Meaden, was developed to “help save British family recipes”.

Tesco customers can now upload and share recipes, food ideas and tips via its Real Food site and become a part of the MyDish online foodie community.

Laura Wade-Gery, CEO of Tesco.com and Direct says: “The partnership with this new and exciting British business will improve the way our customers shop online enabling them to see all the ingredients they need for their recipes and with just one click get them delivered directly to their door.”
