TfL reviews integrated ad account

TFL-MW.gifTransport for London is reviewing its integrated advertising account. The brief includes strategic planning, press, outdoor, email marketing, direct marketing and design projects across all TfL brands.

It is understood that incumbent Chemistry Communications Group will pitch for the business.

TfL says that it is a “periodic review” and that it is in its early stages. The pitch is likely to conclude in April next year.

The new agency will work with TfL’s group marketing communications department headed by Chris McLeod. The agency will work alongside roster agencies including advertising incumbents M&C Saatchi and WCRS, media agency Mediaedge:cia and Meteorite.

A TfL spokesman says the review will not affect the above-the-line accounts. Last week, TfL launched a sequel to its “moon-walking bear” ad created by WCRS that features a detective in a mansion trying to solve a murder mystery.
