I’ve been in marketing for the past two and a half years and got the role after leaving a sales adviser role.

I was inspired to get into marketing by my lecturers and through a module at college where I had to organise and market a charity event. Plus it’s an ever-changing industry with new developments happening all the time so you are constantly learning and being kept on your toes.

I think we need to broaden the understanding that school children have of marketing in that it goes beyond what you see online or on TV, and because of the breadth of marketing you are not restricted to one avenue.
