Global brand manager, Unilever
I got into marketing after taking a behavioural marketing class studying economics at university. That led to me pursuing a second major in marketing.
I then applied to the Unilever case competition in Singapore for undergrads and made it to the management trainee programme, Unilever Future Leaders Program. I’ve been working in marketing for four and a half years now.
Marketing is nothing more than storytelling. I think school age children can be inspired to get into marketing by showing them how beautifully marketers can tap into real human insights and tell these stories in a powerful and emotionally engaging way.
