My initial interest in marketing sparked while I was studying business at school; we had the opportunity to look at lots of real-life case studies, comparing marketing strategies, which really intrigued me.
From there I studied a marketing at Aston University, and joined Mondelēz upon graduation and have been in marketing for the past two years.
To inspire more school age children to get into marketing, we need to apply theory to the real world. Get them to look at case studies, real business challenges and growth, follow a company in the news for a period of time and undertake valuable work experience.
