At university I really enjoyed the marketing modules I took. I loved the mixture of strategy, creativity and analysis.

A magazine career profile on a marketing director inspired me to get into marketing because I saw there was room to work hard and play hard. I’ve been in marketing for three and a half years.

Awareness is going to be key in getting more young people into marketing. Growing up I had no idea a career in marketing was an option, I thought a successful career was in law, finance or medicine. Education and awareness are needed to inspire more school age children into marketing.
