The Leith Agency wins Balblair whisky relaunch account

The Leith Agency has been appointed by Inver House Distillers to help relaunch Balblair Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The agency won the business after a three-way pitch against undisclosed agencies.

It is now working on a direct marketing campaign that is part of a major investment in a worldwide relaunch of the premium brand. It will include a recruitment drive, trade and consumer incentives and a website will host an exclusive Balblair membership club.

Balblair brand manager Margaret Mary Clark says: “We see direct marketing as a core element of our brand strategy.”

The Edinburgh-based agency’s clients include Irn Bru, Seat UK and the Scottish Executive.
