Brand safety is a term that’s thrown around a lot these days – particularly when it comes to social media where it is understandable a brand wouldn’t want its communications running alongside harmful content.
But it means more than that. It is also the general perception of a product that matters. Brands want to advertise and spend money alongside platforms that are seen as doing a net good – or at the very least not viewed unfavourably in the public’s eyes.
