The7Stars and Crayon win Ratedpeople task

ratedpeopleThe7Stars and digital agency Crayon have been appointed by tradesman website Ratedpeople.com ahead of a relaunch. It is not clear if the agencies pitched for the business.

The7Stars will handle the media planning and buying communications strategy across on and offline media. It will work with Crayon to develop the plan over the next couple of months.

The first campaign will use behavioural targeting and rich media and is expected to launch this month. It will be followed with a broader campaign next year.

Rated People is a site that recommends tradespeople to consumers. It deals with about £1m-worth of home improvement jobs every day. The site maintains a large database of tradespeople from across the UK, who are recommended and rated by consumers.

Consumers can enter the details of what kind of tradesperson they require and the work they need doing. The request is then passed on to relevant people. After the job is completed, users enter feedback on the quality of service that they received.
