The7stars takes offline role for

The7stars has won the offline media planning and buying for It will launch the first offline advertising campaign for the site next month.

The website has also appointed Odd, the creative agency backed by Naked, to handle its advertising acc-ount. The site will launch its first national radio campaign in May, with a view to extending into other offline media if it is successful.

The offline work will support the site’s existing online work, which includes search and affiliate marketing. was launched in 2000 by insurance broker group Allen & Allen. The brand is part of A&A’s Hyperperformance group, which specialises in insuring "high risk" driving groups such as young, female, convicted and sports car drivers.

A&A was launched in 1968 and it has built its business by offering insurance to a variety of groups deemed to be high risk by other insurers. Traditionally it has sold its insurance through telemarketing but has increasingly moved into the internet. It offers a range of insurance such as travel, household as well as a variety of motor insurances.

The7stars has won a number of news clients over recent weeks. Earlier this month, it won the £1m planning and buying account for independent record label Domino Records (MW last week).

In March, it scooped the £20m media planning and buying account for classified site Fish4. It also works with Canadian soya brand So Good and upmarket cosmetics store, SpaceNK.
