There is another way, Mr Brierley

While Mr Brierley has clearly had a series of bad experiences in dealing with his financial institution (MW last week), I believe it is unfair to assume that other institutions behave in the same way.

I have banked with First Direct for 13 years, hold most of my accounts there, and have had excellent service. They have given me extended interest-free periods on my credit card, waived overdraft costs, and offered preferential loan rates. No gimmicks, just a good deal for a loyal customer.
