Tim Brown departs Yahoo
Tim Brown, head of ad and publisher products and platforms at Yahoo, has stepped down from his role.
He joined global online ad network BlueLithium in April 2008, seven months after it was sold to Yahoo for $300m (£149m). Prior to this he was MD of ad network 24/7 Real Media.
A spokeswoman for Yahoo confirmed Brown’s departure. “We won’t be replacing Tim’s old position, in order to better mirror our global organisation,” she said.
Yahoo’s acquisition of BlueLithium in September 2007 followed the purchase of internet ad exchange Right Media for $680m (£338m) in April 2007.
