The Wilkin & Sons-owned brand will sponsor a new strand of British-themed programming, called Britain’s Finest. Last year Tiptree sponsored ITV’s programme Melvyn Bragg’s Travels in Written Britain.
Britain’s Finest includes shows such as Rhodes Around Britain, Delia Smith’s Summer Collection, Celebrity Masterchef, Saturday Kitchen and James Martin: Delicious.
The sponsorship begins on 18 July and will run until 31 August. It was negotiated by UKTV sales house ids and Murphy Varley Advertising. The latter produced the sponsorship idents showcasing a selection of Tiptree’s preserves.
The idents feature quotations from British poets and authors linking with the brand’s theme of “The preserve of good taste”.
