Tiscali signs distribution deal with DSG International

Tiscali has signed a deal with DSG International, owner of Currys and PC World, to sell its broadband, TV and phone packages. It is the company’s biggest retail distribution deal to date.

The deal, which launched today (November 7), will include single, double and triple-play services. Tiscali has set up a number of dedicated microsites to help the sales teams at Currys and PC World offer advice to customers.

Mary Turner, chief executive of Tiscali, says it is a “landmark” deal. She says: “Working with DSGi we will have the opportunity to showcase to consumers all over the UK.”

Tiscali, which has over 1.8 million customers, offers a range of different broadband and phone deals and also has a digital TV service, it has over 80 channels, seven-day catch up and a digital personal recorder box. PC World will add the packages to its “Get Connected” range. DSGi has more than 650 stores in the UK.
