Contract publishing house Nexus Strategic Partnerships is launching a business magazine focusing on carbon and climate change issues.

Carbon Business, which will be quarterly, will be aimed at marketers, PRs and board-level management. The first issue in May will have an initial print run of 10,000, but it is hoped that will double within a year.

The magazine aims to show how green issues affect business on top of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes. It aims to raise awareness of climate change as a business risk that has the opportunity to become an asset if properly handled.

Publisher Jeremy Blow says: "There is no carbon-dedicated business channel to the boardrooms of those businesses that need to transform their cultures, operations, HR and energy management strategies and tactics."

An editorial advisory board will dictate editorial content to ensure it is appropriate and relevant. The launch issue will be produced in association with the Climate Leaders Group.

It will be aimed at senior management, marketers and carbon specialists at the world’s top 2,500 companies, asset and fund management, finance and government.
