Top marketer quits PepsiCo snacks arm

Jill Hilliard, PepsiCo Foods International vice-president marketing for Europe, is leaving the company following a reorganisation of its marketing department.

It is understood she will not be replaced. Hilliard is joining Oxford Corporate Consultants as a senior consultant.

Prior to her last role at PepsiCo, Hilliard was new product development director for the Walkers snack brand and was involved in the launch of Doritos in the UK. She was also marketing director of the Walkers brand.

Hilliard’s last assignment at Pepsi was to create a new European marketing structure for the company’s snackfoods division, under the Frito-Lay brand.

Worldwide, the snacks division accounts for about 40 per cent of PepsiCo’s sales, which amount to approximately 20bn.

The full scale of reorganisation in Hilliard’s department is not yet clear; she leaves at the end of next month. Hilliard began her marketing career at Procter & Gamble.
