TradeDoubler’s Ben Wood to become MD of Diffiniti

TradeDoubler MD Ben Wood is set to become MD of Aegis-owned Diffiniti, filling the role vacated by Rob Horler last week.

The move will see Wood reunited with Aegis, where he was both MD of Carat Digital and then managing partner at Vizeum, almost two years after he left for TradeDoubler.

He will be responsible for growing Diffiniti’s operations, which include the Sky media account, after Horler left to join sister agency Carat as MD.

Both Wood and TradeDoubler have denied the move, but new media age understands an announcement is set to be made in the next few weeks.

In a statement to new media age Björn Lindberg, TradeDoubler COO, said, “Ben Wood worked at Aegis for four years prior to TradeDoubler and so the rumours are unsurprising, but they are only rumours.”

Aegis was unavailable for comment.
