Greene, currently starring in the fourth and latest instalment of the film franchise “Breaking Dawn”, will appear in global advertising campaigns for Donna Karan sub brands DKNY and DKNY Jeans. The first will run next spring.
She will also be ambassador for both brands.
Patti Cohen, Donna Karan International’s executive vice president for global marketing and communications, says Greene’s “energy, spirit and eclectic” style fits with DKNY’s values.
She adds: “She is on the forefront of what it means to connect with a global fan base through social media, a focus that is aligned with our digital and new media initiatives.”
The Twilight saga is one of the most successful movie franchises of the past decade. The latest film is said to have earned $139.5m (£89m) in its opening weekend at the US box office.
