UK launch for Elizabeth Arden’s Hilary Duff fragrance

Elizabeth Arden is gearing up for the launch of a new celebrity fragrance collection for US singer Hilary Duff.

The fragrance, called “With Love…Hilary Duff” will be available in the UK early next month. The range comprises an Eau de Parfum spray, rollerball and moisturising body lotion. It follows the roll-out of the fragrance in the US late last year.

The launch will coincide with the release of Duff’s new film Material Girls alongside the nationwide release of her album on April 2.

The initiative is part of a broader move by the cosmetics and beauty giant to extend its penetration of the designer fragrance market.

Last year the company launched a major new line of fragrance products for US-based novelist Danielle Steel as part an exclusive global licensing agreement. The company’s portfolio of prestige brands also includes fragrances for Britney Spears such as Curious and Fantasy.

Last month Procter & Gamble (P&G) unveiled plans to move into the celebrity fragrance market after securing a licensing deal with singer Christina Aguilera.
