UKTV Style has signed sponsorship deals with multivitamin company Centrum and glass manufacturer Pilkington. Centrum will sponsor the channel’s lifestyle strand, while the Pilkington will sponsor its home improvement programming.
The deal with Centrum, brokered by its media agency ZenithOptimedia and pay TV sales house IDS, will include shows such as What Not to Wear, The Clothes Show, Farm of Fussy Eaters and How do I Look?
The six-month sponsorship worth in excess of £200,000 will be supported by TV spots aimed at raising awareness of the Centrum range of vitamins.
The second deal, worth £400,000 and brokered by IDS and Pilkington’s media agency Mediaedge:cia Manchester, will see the glass manufacturer sponsor the channel’s home improvement programming over a six-month period.
The brand will feature in shows such as DIY SOS, Colin & Justin’s Home Show and Love the Place You’re in.
The deal also includes an online campaign with sponsorship of the relevant programming on UKTV Style’s website, an advertorial, a competition and newsletter sponsorship.
The two sponsorship deals will commence September 22.
