Undervalued vs overrated
The requisite skills marketers believe are of value are not the same as those that their employees deem necessary, it seems. Data from our Career and Salary Survey, our annual poll of more than 3,000 marketers, reveals marketing strategy, brand management and commercial acumen are the skills employers undervalue in a marketer, according to marketers.
