United Biscuits appoints P&G marketer

United Biscuits UK (UBUK), the snacks company that owns McVities and KP, has appointed Helen Warren-Piper as brand director for bagged snacks. Her appointment coincides with the company’s sale to a private equity consortium.

Warren-Piper will be responsible for marketing across brands including Hula-Hoops, McCoy’s, Mini Cheddars and KP Nuts. She will report to UBUK marketing director Jon Eggleton.

She joins the company from Procter & Gamble where has held a variety of marketing roles. She was latterly the marketing director for P&G Pet Care in the UK and was responsible for the launch of Iams in the UK. She is also a former marketing manager for Pampers.
