Continuing the “put the fun back into driving” theme, Vauxhall Corsa has given eighteen-year-old Charlotte Gunn from Southend, the chance to star in the new TV ad by winning the national Corsa Pop Art Idol competition which ran earlier this year on Facebook.

Aired in the UK from Monday (19 July), the new Corsa ad aims to communicate Corsa’s style credentials from a fun and fresh angle, featuring Gunn in the kiss scene and gallery wall of the TV ad.

It will break for the first time during ad breaks for Coronation Street on ITV.

Since launching in April, thousands have ’Pop Arted’ their images on the Corsa Facebook Fan page. There they could Pop Art their image and drop it onto the gallery wall, post it on their own page and even pass it on to other Facebook friends and get them to Pop Art themselves too.

Five runners up each won a two-foot square canvas of their Pop Arted image to display in full glory at home.

Created and managed by Marvellous, the Corsa Pop Art Facebook Campaign was launched in April 2009 with over 6000 entrants. The Corsa Pop Art advert was produced by DLKW.
