The collaboration with creative director Donatella Versace follows similar partnerships with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo and Lanvin.

The women’s, men’s and home range will include Versace’s staple elements of leather, prints, colour and exuberant materials pitched at H&M’s affordable prices.

It will be available from 17 November in 300 stores worldwide and online.

It is the first time one of H&M’s designer collaborations has incorporated homewear.

Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M, says: “Versace is one of the most important brands of recent times, and their collection for H&M will be glamorous and flamboyant – everything Versace stands for.”

Donatella Versace says: “I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching their wide audience. The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere”.
