Video: Guardian Labs pitches “open ideas” content marketing

Guardian Labs, Guardian News and Media’s content marketing service for brands launches today (13 February).

The division employs 133 people including creatives and designers as well as editorial and marketing staff to co-create content with brands.

A “seven-figure” deal with Unilever marks the Lab’s official unveiling that will see the creation of content aimed at increasing awareness of sustainability issues. Unilever recently launched Project Sunlight, its own content initiative aimed at motivating people to live more sustainable lifestyles.

Marketing Week spoke with Anna Watkins, managing director of Guardian Labs, about its “open ideas” approach to content marketing.
