Chris Clark

Group head of marketing


Chris Clark manages about 1,500 marketers in roughly 40 countries, who reportedly spend more than $1bn per year. He has been with HSBC for 15 years, joining from a near-decade stint at Saatchi & Saatchi. Clark helped lead a global strategy review of HSBC’s business in 2012. He says his hardest task is balancing the customer’s need to contact the bank through multiple channels while fulfilling regulatory requirements concerning security and data protection.
