Christian Woolfenden heads up marketing at Lyst, the ecommerce site that enables consumers to buy from 11,000 designers in one place. In quite a different role at Paddy Power, he was responsible for overseeing the ‘ministry of mischief’ at the brand known for some of the most startling marketing stunts. Occasionally its concepts overstep the boundaries of taste but in a world of risk-averse marketers he is a genuine visionary. He was just one of 15 marketers selected by The Marketing Academy to be on its inaugural Fellowship Programme, designed to help top marketers ascend to the boardroom and the CEO role.
