Keeping up with the pace of change in consumer behaviour and technology is something Dominic Grounsell cites as his biggest challenge and yet it is one on which he thrives. At Travelex, he is involved in restructuring the global marketing teams, while also focusing his attentions on improving the brand’s digital presence. Grounsell is a Unilever-trained marketer who says his light-bulb moment was when he “first experienced the power of analytics and data-driven marketing”, something he has also put to use in previous roles at More Than and BT. As a result, he elevated BT’s broadband proposition and says his proudest career moment was helping the company “win the battle” of free broadband over rival Carphone Warehouse.
