Although Elizabeth Fagan has held roles in vocational teaching, buying, trading and general management, she has always come back to marketing as, she says, it is “where my true passion lies”. Having first worked at Boots several years before, she returned in 2006 before taking control of the retailer’s marketing activity the following year. Her global role now sees her take the success of campaigns such as ‘Here come the girls’ to a wider audience. “I am responsible for leading the strategic decision of the Boots brand internationally. This includes the challenge of transferring the successful work we have achieved here in the UK into international markets such as Mexico, Thailand and Norway.
